Hi guys...this is my first post here and I have some issues (like many) with 896mk3

My PC setup is...:
Motherboard Asus P5N-D
Intel Quadcore Q6600
4Gb Ram Kingston
I have also 2 boards PCI x Firewire with two different chipsets (VT606 and VT607 both from VIA)...

Well...After install of Windows 7 (64 bit) and driver offline installation of 896 mk3

Oh, I tried with win7 (32 bits) also and results were the same...nothing happened

I tried versions 1416, 1414 and 1410 of motu drivers WITHOUT success
Windows 7 simply does not recognized the damn 896mk3

I tried the legacy trick also and nothing happened too...

Motu website says...1416 driver is for win7 but does not work at all..

I saw some posts here of people telling that they make it work with win 7 and other motu interfaces smoothly ^^ glad to hear that...

And finally I want to know if someone is having the same problems...and if they were solved...

I really don't know WTF I have to do anymore for this crap works...

I am very disapointed with motu support thats because I am here asking for anyone here...love motu interfaces but next one will not be a motu...support is a pain in the....."guess".

Hope someone help me and many others with same problem. TYVM.

Regards.

Well,

as long as anyone asnwered I will share my results....

The 1416 driver make 896mk3 get it to work...(win 7)
BUT now I have a new issue that is when I install the UAD-2
card and turn PC on with motu turned on...when windows desktop
appears theres an issue..blue screen...
AND when I start windows with motu turned off and start it
after windows...it works fine...dont aske me why...I dont know yet
Finally, every time I need to restart the system I MUST REMEMBER
to turn off motu or I will got crashed with blue screen...
Is it driver conflict? IRQ conflict? Incompatibility?

Waiting....
