Is this considered normal?

Hi,
I have a Motu Ultralite MK3 which I'm using with Cubase 5, and running it on a MacBook Pro (Core 2 Duo 2.16Mhz). Because I need to use certain plug-ins that are Windows based I'm using Snow Leopard with BootCamp along with Windows 7, and the latest Motu drivers. Anyway, I experience really bad dropouts and narrowed the majority of the cause to the Mac's wireless adapter. Is this a common problem? In other words, in Windows 7 I have to disable that network card otherwise every 50-65 seconds I get terrible dropouts that sound like someone is rapidly moving the volume control to zero then back up to normal volume over and over. It actually sounds like studdering. This lasts about 5 seconds and then returns to normal sound, and repeats over and over every 50-65 seconds. Note: I'm not sure if the same issue exits in Snow Leopard, I'll have to experiment. Because of this I wasn't able to go below 768 or 1024 samples per buffer. Now that I found an issue with the Wireless card, disable it, I can go to 384/512 samples per buffer in Cubase 5 but still occasionaly hear ticks/clicks etc... So I guess I'm asking if it is considered normal to have to disable a wireless adapter etc... Thanks for any help.
BTW, I've been trying to call Motu Support all day today, and have found their line is constantly busy.
