5.1 no LF channel ?

I have recently moved to DP6 from Audition because good as it is it just could not keep up. In Vista its a dead dog anyway. It follows several other DAWs ground into the dust by my creative process. At the moment that is soundtrack creation. I quite like DP6 its way ahead of me most of the time. I love the 5.1 effects and I have almost got my head around its sometimes strange workflow but the signal routing has me scratching my head. I can't seem to get a signal to the LF channel on my 828 Mk3. I have set up the bundles for SMPTE which has the LF channel on CH4. The signal shows in the individual channel fader window and on the master channel but no signal is visible on the 828. I am feeding it big fat bass frequencies but absolutely nothing comes out. The LF powered speaker is on and works from my other software. Is there a button somewhere that I haven't pressed.

DP's panners default with the LFE fader down (this one has confused me many times)..... open the panner and expand to see the channel faders... not at DP at the moment, but it's in there somewhere....

Hope this helps

Thanks but I did find that and have them up. I get 6 channels of good signal but only 5 go out. Swapping 3 and 4 in the bundles just swaps the problem so its in DP somewhere...

Do you also have a master fader for your surround output? Check this also for the LFE channel fader...

Other than that I have no idea why this may not be working...

Cheers

Thanks the master fader was all it was. What a silly feature to have it off as the default!
