Sample database

Post by jantoman »

Hi guys.

Anybody knows a good application to build a sample database? I'm using MF since 1.0 release, and I have a huge Akai CD images library. I tried CDXtract database option, but it sucks... I added a few CD images to the database, then I performed a search using a program name that WAS there, checking both Program and Sample options... "no item found". OK, thanks: next one ? :)

FileMaker would be great, if only the Finder could manage Akai disks... Any suggestion ?

Many thanks in advance.

Audiofinder is a no brainer for this type of work.

Thanks for your suggestion. I checked AudioFInder but it doesn't seem to recognize Akai CD format. Did you try that ? Maybe I didn't find out the way to do it.
