... and presumably other versions of DP. Just an FYI for future reference.
Finally have a project that will put DP 7 thru its paces. Also the first time I'm using Plogue Bidule for the first time in a larger project.
All was fine until I got to instrument #7 in MachFive 2. It crashed the audio system every time.
The work around is to keep your other instruments in Bidule and run MachFive in DP as a VI. Currently running about 14 tracks of stereo audio and 14 VIs (7 in Bidule; 7 in MachFive) and it seems to be very happy. We'll see what happens when the track count grows.
Otherwise, DP 7 it working great. BTW, the crashes did not affect DP or Plogue, only my FW (M-Audio) and built-in audio.
Current system: G5 Dual 2.0 PPC; OS X.5.8; 4GB RAM
UVI WOrkstation, Kontakt 3.5, Korg WS VI.
