Hi, I can't hear myself (barely) as I record.

Here's where to talk about preamps, cables, microphones, monitors, etc.

So I'm using an Ultralite mk3. The recording works with AudioDesk and Audacity. I record. I play back. Things work. What doesn't work during AudioDesk during the recording is the instant playback. It sounds very quiet. I resolved this issue years ago with the Ultralite mk1 but can't remember how to do it right with the setup process all over again. Please help!

Make sure you add a master fader in Audiodesk and use it to bring down the computer audio level so you can turn up the master volume on your Ultralight, bringing your vocal in Cuemix up with it. Also, set your preamp gain levels properly on your mic channel.
