How to bypass Ethno validation in DP 7?

Hello,
I recently have upgraded to snow leopard and DP 7 keeps crashing during load up as soon as it starts to validate the Ethno instrument. Since the crash prevents me from loading up DP and accessing the plugin preferences, is there another way to bypass this Ethno component during load up?
Thanks for any advice

If it's crashing on boot, quit DP.
Go to Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > MAS
and
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > AU
Drag the 'bundle' for Ethno from the MAS folder and its corresponding 'component' from the Components folder. Put those two files in a safe place.
To be safe, check your User Library> Audio> Plugins folder for the MAS and Component files to make sure there weren't somehow duplicated during installation.
Restart DP. It should bypass Ethno.

Thanks a lot for the help!
I assume that I will have to disable Ethno during load up until it's snow leopard ready. In the meantime, can I just use Mach Five 2 to load up the Ethno sample files to access its sounds?
Thanks again for any tips!

For cases like this, the plugins sets preferences has saved me quite a few times:
First of all, you have to create a "NoPlugIns" plug in set in DP's preferences. Then when you have a new plug in that make DP crash, you boot DP while holding the Option Key. This will pop up the plug in set dialog, where you can select the NoPlugins set. It will therefore force DP to launch without any plugin.
After that, you can mark the offending plugin as invalid within DP's audio plugins preference without having to move it. To do so, you select the offending plugin and you choose reexamine. You can then mark it as invalid in the dialog that appears.
All of this seems long but it goes pretty fast and it's useful if there's a plug in that won't work in DP but that will in other applications.

And yes you can use M5 for Ethno. I always did anyways even when both worked in Leopard.
