With DP7 and SL Play will crash DP7 when I try to load it. Does anyone have it working? I tried to re-install Play 1.2.5 and I get an error message.
Any ideas?

Re: DP7, SL & Play Is it working?
It's working here. I have a couple of issues, none related to end performance: most times the notes I play on my controller no longer are reflected on Play's keyboard (though the MIDI still works); and the output meter on the plug-in sometimes stops functioning (but the audio is always still output).

Working here but just installed today and haven't taxed it yet. Also, the stuff I was working on was ancient mixes for a re-release so one song dated back 10 years. On another oldie I replaced some of the old MIDI strings with some PLAY instruments and it worked no problem.

hmm okay thanks for your input... somehow I managed to get it to work by instantiating Play first before K3 or VEPro. Before doing that it would just crash DP7... go figure.

Well, VE Pro and PLAY both have their own "servers" which access RAM outside of DP. It's good to know instantiating PLAY first works best.
Should you ever upgrade to Kontakt 3.5 or 4.x, be aware that it also has its own independent server that runs outside of the DAW host. That would be a lot of competition for whatever RAM you have above the first 4GB.

There is definitely an issue with Play in DP7 with SL. It doesn't crash all the time, but a lot. And the log points to Play issues. Kernel Failure - bad access or something that I don't understand...
