Full scale noise

I`m getting occasional Full scale white noise output from DP when using MachFive 2. I haven`t noticed it when I`m using DP for mixing (nearly all MachFive sounds are printed to audio previously). The noise seems to happen when I`ve got MachFive loaded with samples and especially if I`m in cycle mode in DP. A large Buffer size (1024) seems to lessen the chances of noise, but it can still happen, even when DP is not doing anything and is at rest. Anyone else had this problem? (DP 6.02, 2 x 2.8 Quad-core Intel, 6GB RAM, OS 10.5.7)
