Hi,
I just installed MachFive-2 into my new iMac. I have followed the user guide to the T but am having problems with the program reading anything but m5p. Most of my older samples (ESQLSO, etc) have the extn .nks .nkc or .nki Upon trying to access these samples in the preset window, I get a 'Discard' Invalid program' message, or 'sample not found'. I also have some Giga samples. Most of these libraries are stored on external hard drives.
Should these samples not load straight away?
Thank you,
Roger Hewett

If your third-party format sound libraries are encrypted, I wouldn't expect them to work in MachFive:

"I don't see any method at all, sir."

Thank you very much. That would explain it. I guess I'll continue to use Kontact for those files.
