Firepod / Firebox Not Compatible w/DP?

After purchasing my Presonus Firebox, I now notice on their website that the Firebox / Firepod is not compatible with DP. Does anyone here have any information about the incompatibility?
The exact language from the Presonus website is:
"Digital Performer - We curenlty do not recommend using Digital Performer with the FIREPOD/FIREBOX. We are in the process of certifying this software application."
