MAchfive AU

I need DP to read Machfive AU instead of MAS,AU is already in the plug-in folder but I need the AU search to locate it,any help would be awsome.

cant be done, this have been making me angry with mach 5 and MX4, I want to use the AU version with automap but cannot, when a motu plugin is installed in DP it will only read the MAS version, the part that makes me certain that it is with motu plugs only is that my wave arts appear as both MAS and AU.
send a techlink to motu to complain about this, the more they get the faster they'll change it.

I actually had a au and mas version in the past running just fine side by side but cant get it going now.

Are you on DP6? If you check in Preferences>Audio Plugins you will find the 2 versions and maybe one is checked and the other is not.
In mine there is one listed in the first part of the list with all the MAS plugs, and another with the AU plugs (listed as Duplicate)

mine shows the au as a duplicate in plug in prefs but will not allow me to activate it, I can check the little box and enable, but when I'm up and running the AU, nor the automap version of it will appear in my VI selection menu.

In Preferences if you uncheck the MAS version and check the AU version, when the audio engine restarts the AU version is definitely running.... I proved it as I just removed the MAS version from my plugins folder..
It seems you can have one or the other, just not both showing up at the same time.

it runs, but I sure nuff can't get no sound out of it.

this worked on Mach 5, not on MX4, but thanks though.
