I don't know, but I remember some people saying they'd pre-ordered their copies months ago (and without hearing any samples and without a release date).

Yeah, someone else posted this link months ago, maybe a week or two after NAMM.

My opinion is they're suspect. Maybe they're just temporary subs, meant to substaniate an ad for product with a nebulous release date? No other MOTU SI audio demos have surfaced that I know of. If memory serves me, many of the posters in the original thread shared my suspicion.
