I have been migrating to 6.02 and all has been fine so far except...
When I create a new template with VI's and associated MIDI tracks and then open a new DP file from that template...
The MIDI tracks are in italics and i need to use 'Device Remap' to reattach them.
The same DP file works fine if I save it and reopen it (but not as a template.)
This would not be a drama with small templates , but I'm trying to create a large template to get more efficient (at last!).
Am I missing something obvious?
Can anyone please see if you have the same behavior?
Cheers

Re: DP6.02 templates forgetting MIDI destination?
Yes I've experienced that as well, and the workaround has been to use project files as templates. It was brought up a while ago but no-one seemed that bothered by it. But still, it's a good feature that doesn't work anymore.
