I have a 24i with the pci-324. I installed the software, powered down, installed the card(tried 2 different pci slots), came back up and that's where the trouble starts. XP(sp 3) locks up after after 5 seconds. It will not finish booting up. Tried this process three times. Same result. Take the card out and everything is fine.

The computer is a Compaq presario SR2050NX Pentium D (dual core) 2.8 Ghz, motherboard (ECS rca410-m). It does have a pci express slot. I would rather not have to get another card.
Does anyone know how to get this thing working?

think you need to get the newer card, 424.. i had the same problem.
the 324 is like 10 years old or something. not compatible with more modern motherboards.
