a while back, many of you helped redesign the layout of my studio. Since I have treated the room, and actually was able to do some recording. I also purchased the d112 plugin, which has helped out tremendously. I have posted the video for the tune here:

I am still quite happy with the low end. I am not getting the boominess of the low end, and I think it is my mixing skill that needs some work now. If any one has any suggestions on how to clean up the lowend, that would be greatly appreciated.
Have a great weekend,
Jody Rech

Re: New song with treated room
Get 1K Multimedia's ARC.
http://www.ikmultimedia.com
It's a bit tricky because you have to make sure you take the microphone readings ONLY within the sphere of
influence of the speakers, NOT outside them, or you will end up with a preset that sounds much worse than
you could imagine. Follow the guidelines in the manual for taking readings - especially if you're listening area is small.
You have to do at least 12 readings and do them in the order the manual suggests.
Once you've taken the readings and created a preset, you launch ARC and slap it as a plug-in across your
master buss while mixing. When you're done with your mix, disable the ARC plug-in by bypassing it or removing it before doing your
mixdown pass or bounce.

Re: New song with treated room
I had assumed ARC was only worth it for major studios that have room treatment.
Has anyone found that it can be beneficial even in situations where a lease precludes the most common room treatment methods?
