I am using Windows XP and MOTU Ultrlite Mk3. I have some issues I need help resolving :

I got my main synth hokoed up, and adjusted the phones and main out to get the levsl just right. At this point my synth output was almost at its maximum.

I then played a WAV file via Windows Media player and it nearly blew my head off. Adjusting the main outs to keep this sound at a reasonable level meant I could hardly hear my synth.

Its a daft newbie question, I know, but how do I control the level of the computer sound, but keep my synth level unchanged?

I'm a newbie with the UltraLite as well, so my suggestion might not be the best, but have you tried the input trims from within CueMix? Each input channel as a digital trim knob you can use to lower the input signal, independently from the actual output level. Check it out and see what happens. (Don't forget you can also lower Windows Media player's volume.) Good luck.
