Forgive me for not being better with my terms. My question is what does it mean to have multiple outs with my AUs in DP? Is this refering to applying the same AU effects to multiple tracks?

Thanks

DP now supports VIs that have multiple outs ie Kontakt 2... before 4.6 you were only capable of running multiple out AUs as stereo and you did not have access to run a full drum mx directly out of your VI for example... does that clear things up?

Example:
Kontakt 2 can send several outs ie out1 = kick out 2= snare out 3 = hats etc etc etc

in DP 4.52 it would only see 1&2 ie stereo instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 etc

Shane,

Thanks for the help! That really clears things up alot. I have one more question now. I have a powerbook. Is there anything like the UAD-1 card Project Pak for a laptop user?

You can check out the TC Electronics Powercore Compact. It's a firewire based dsp unit. (instead of pci based)

Thanks for the info about the TC Electronics Powercore Compact.
Now will I be able to chain that to my interface so I can monitor vocals with reverb & compression at 0 latency? Is something like this possible

How do you route the multiple outs. I am using Battery and Kontakt. I got the audio bundles thing hapening for Battery. How do you do it for Kontakt. Just bought it waiting on it - checking out hte demo in the meantime.
Demo has been crashing DP 4.6 -works fine on Logic 6.4.3

Any suggestions?
