Can Win detect the 16 Ports of 2 MTP AV ?

Everything is in the title ...
I have 2 MTP AV (parallel) hooked together thru the net port / Clockworks sees the 16 ports , but Win XP Pro SP2 ( or Sonar , or MIDI Ox ) detects only the first 8 ports ...
Is it something that Win cannot do ? but Mac OS 9 does it ?
