DP6.02 Crashes trying to go to "Tracks" window

Every time I click on the "Tracks" tab to open the window, the spinning wheel of death comes up for 20 seconds and DP dies. I had been running 5.13 for a long long time, then installed 6.1 a several weeks ago and it ran fine while recording. Crashed a lot during extensive editing but that is part of the game that we all play. Last week I installed 6.2 and it worked flawlessly for 3 days and nights. I mean it would take everything I threw at it without a problem. Yesterday I worked on some editing and when I tried to go to the tracks window to bounce out a copy of the project........bam....zowie.....every time I click on the Tracks tab it crashes. Everything else works fine. I trashed preferences. I tried other files. I reinstalled DP6.1 and it did the same thing. Upgraded it to 6.2 and it still does the same thing. Only way I can use these files is by opening them in 6.2, saving as 5.12 and then using 5.13 .

Anyone have any ideas?

Does this happen with all your projects? If not, try to open a new file and load your sequence (chunk) and try again. It might be that session is corrupted.

It doesn't happen on every project, just random projects. All projects are upgrades from DP5.13 but some work fine. I just discovered a work-around. If I close all windows and thenopen up a window set. I can then go to the tracks tab without a crash. I've trashed preferences, did all the usual stuff. Not sure what to try next. This shouldn't be happening.
