Cuemix Talkback/Listenback... Hardware Solution?

When using the Cuemix Console for talkback and listenback, is there a hardware device to toggle these on and off while working in a non MOTU DAW environment?

Having to switch to the Cuemix window to activate and deactivate talkback is a drag, and a larger control surface to just access this feature is not entirely reasonable.

If there isn't something out there already, a simple controller for the Cuemix Console talkback/listenback function seems like something MOTU should look at as I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation.

Any suggestions?

Hi!
I have similar problem. I use foot controler, on my 828mk3, to toggle talkback on and off but this only works when Cumix Console is active as front application. When Cumix is in background (I use Cubase as my main app) this function doesn't works.

I think I've got a slick solution for you.

1] Plug a footswitch into your 828 [there is a footswitch jack].
2] Open MOTU Audio Setup, and enable the pedal
3] Set the pedal to control-T
4] now whenever you hit the pedal, a control T will be executed, and if cuemix is open, it will toggle.

Let me know if this works for you, if you try it.

looks like you will need a remote device then, like an airclick usb, keyspan, or a tranzport.

Take a look at this device. I have it and it works great! Also allows you to set up a monitor matrix for A/B monitors as well as multiple sources.

I do it using my calculator key on my Logitech keyboard using ControllerMate to set it up.
