Hello all... I am a new Motu user, I have a new Ultralite MK3 connected to my Power Mac G5 and I want to upgrade the firmware, I am having some problems with the quality of the sound that I can record. well. The thing is that I cant figure out the COMPLETE procedure to update the hardware, I downloaded the Motu audio installer from the motu website, but then I dont know what to do next... can someone tell me the steps to follow...

MOTU has not released a firmware update for the UltraLite mk3. You're probably trying to install the firmware update for the original UltraLite, which is not the same interface.
The leading cause of wrong answers is asking the wrong questions.
