Hope that helps. I'm using aliases to point UVI instruments to the libraries after I moved them.The built-in favorites — EXS Instruments, UVISoundBanks, and a few others — are always there and don't have "Remove from Favorites" buttons. The "Remove" button shows up on folders that the user has added to the list. New UVI products such as UVI WS let you remove the default favorite folders via a contextual menu (though the removed folders currently return on the next launch; hopefully they'll address this in a future release).
