Hello.

I am currently using windows xp pro with my newly purchased Sonar 8PE (the best sequencer ever ), I use xp mainly because of the stability and low recourse demands compared to vista. But now hearing so much positive about w7 I think I will give it a chance and upgrade.

Anyone else who have upgraded and experienced positive changes?

my w7 x64 with ultralite mk3 with 1360 drivers runs very smoothly !

I posted my upgrade experience in another thread on Windows 7 drivers. It's quite stable and perceptibly faster than Vista. Couldn't say if it's safe for production, I'd wait at least till Release Candidate time. But it does appear that Microsoft has a winner with this one.
