Got a slight problem with my 828mkII, in that I can't reduce the samples per buffer size below 512. I've tried downloading the latest drivers from the MOTU site, but they haven't solved the problem. My OS is 32-bit Vista for now, until i get round to upgrading - not sure if Vista could be the culprit or not.

What is your system?

BTW you may want to use the 3.6.7.x drivers. The new drivers have hardware calls to the MKIII units which double latency in the older units. On my system that means more buffering. With those drivers I can set it for 256. With the newest ones for some reason it wants 1024
