I'm going to post a techlink once I get confirmation of this..
Do the New Take, Next Take, Previous take key commands work for anyone? I tried assigning different commands to them and they do not seem to have any effect at all.

These commands only work with record-enabled tracks.

I knew it had to be something odd... thank you
Is there a reasonable explanation for this? It seems strange to me
edit: I noticed it changes the take on
all record enabled tracks. That seems very useful, but still odd that you can't change a take via key-command on a track that's not record-enabled.

I haven't thought of a reasonable explanation, and MOTU hasn't provided one (I asked Dave).
I've requested similar control of selected tracks, which would be helpful when mixing and editing, for example. Please submit this to MOTU's suggestion box (available at their 'Company' page) if you'd like that too - the more requests the better.

Yeah... I've sent this suggestion in a while back as it was a bit mystifying why this was. Hopefully in the next DP version?
