Do you have Sonar configured to use ASIO or WDM drivers? With ASIO, the box is greyed out but ticked, because the driver tells Sonar that it's 16 or 24 bit capable. With WDM, the box should not be greyed out and you should be able to tick it. If not, double check that the MOTU is the only audio device you have enabled in Sonar. In one of the other audio options tabs there is a place to enable/disable drivers.

If you insert the bit meter plugin that comes with Sonar into a track and then record enable the track, you should see if you are really getting 24-bit audio into Sonar.

I have tried with two options Asio and WDM Drivers. In asio is greyed, but when i open a new project in the windows project Sonar says i have a project in 48 mhz and 16 bits settings.
I have tried with wdm drivers, when i check 24 bits option in audio options, i can't record.
I'll try with the bit meter plugin to check, thanks for your help.

There is a setting under "Options|Global|Audio Data" that determines the bit-depth of new projects. The setting in the audio control panel just enables the 24-bit capability in the driver, it doesn't change your default recording options. Go into your global options and set up your prefered bit-depth for new recordings.
