I have converted "Latin Groove Factory" in Roland format to mach 5 . The problem I am having is , during the conversion, it has split out all the drums as separate drums patches. For instance, There is a separate Hi-Hat patch for open, closed, and pedal. I would like them all to be in one patch. In fact I would like to put all the drums into one patch.
If I try to drag them into a empty patch it does not work. If I try to drag in the individual samples ......... they go in but...... then I would have to reset all the velocity cross-fades again. There has to be a better way........... HELP ! ALSO
I have a manual for mach 5 ver.1 but no manual came with Mach 5 2. What's up with that ? Not even a pdf one ?

You can combine multiple patches in M5 v2:
- Create a new, empty preset (in the red-tinted File section in the upper left, hit the "new" button under Preset)
- Double-click the part to open the browser
- Choose "in a new layer" from the pop-up menu in the upper right, then load the desired preset
- Lather, rinse, repeat as desired (remember to choose "in a new layer" each time — that setting isn't sticky)

Regarding the manual, assuming you bought an upgrade through MOTU, I'm surprised that v2 didn't come with one. Give MOTU a call.
