Best way to use DP 5.13 and 6.01 on same system?
for maximum reliablity in both progs?
is there any tips about where certain files or MAS plugin's should go etc? Partitioning?

I've been using both versions and they both seem to work fine for MIDI and audio. I'm not sure about VIs and FX - how they are handled - I imagine you can access them from both? Anyway, no problems over here for what I'm doing.

I've been running both on the same system without any problems although I haven't opened 5.13 in a LOOOOOOOONG time :shock:
Creativity, some digital stuff and analogue things that go boom. crackle, bits of wood with strings on them that go twang

Regurlarly work with both version no problem. I still find it weird that they share the preference file. Some window sets I've done in DP6 can be recalled in DP5 even if some of the new windows don't exist.

I may go there also. I'm somewhat between projects (ha!), and the ones still 'in route' in 5.13 shouldn't suffer (famous last words) from any 'service disruptions' caused by new work in 6.01. May be my best opening for awhile.

I like to work only with 6.0.1, it rocks for me!!
