DP 6.01 hangs on closing!

DP 6.01 hangs on closing the session! I have done repairing permission, deleting preferences several times. Every time right after " DP freezes on the "FIle select, close," I clink Finder and do force quit. Then I do all the routine mentioned above and then restart. The same thing happens again and again. I work mostly only MIDI and a few instrument plug-ins such as, Mach Five2, Omnisphere and RMX. I use DP 6.01 with MacBook pro 2.4, 4 gigs of ram, Digidesign Mbox Micro (so I can stay in 24 bit zone). Any idea?

DP5 occasionally hangs for me when I quit DP, but I can't remember it doing it when closing a session/project. From what I understand, it's generally caused by a 3rd party plug-in not closing properly.

Omnisphere maybe at fault? I just bought and installed it. And I did all the last updates.

DP has always had this problem on and off....
It is just how the damn program rolls..lol..
It would be nice to hear Magic Dave ome in and comment on whether we should repair prefs after this or just ignore it.
Personally, i just force quit when this happens, but I wonder how good that is for the code of DP and the prefs...
