I am struggeling with getting my MK3 to work proper with my 8pre and Behringer ADAT 8000.
I hear a clicking sound when I connect my Behringer ADAT. I suppose that it comes from the settings of my clock source.
Settings: (44,1 kHz)
- MK3 are connected to my DAW through Firewire.
- In MK3 I use ADAT A for my 8pre. One cabel. No firewire.
- In Mk3 I use ADAT B for my Behringer ADAT. Two cables (in/out). Behringer ADAT is set to be a slave through ADAT.
- Clock source are set to be MK3 (internal)... and I tried different without success, except from getting a blue screen on my DAW
So I now wonder:
- In what order should I turn my gears on? Or doesn't it matters?
- What Clock Source settings should I use?
- Firewire or not from my 8pre to my MK3
