X-Station is ok here to.
Just transport commands are totally buggy in synth mode.
But they're fine in controller mode, once they've been set up in command window.

Hello Tuxla,
Major issues also with the copact.

Below is a Post I have left yesterday nigh to the Yahoo forum dedicated to Novation remote Sl.
See...I am in deep trouble with that stuff. perhaps I should trade it for a M-Audio Axiom and follow the tutorial on Motunation???, :?

I have been trying to control DP6 virtual instruments plugins through
my new SL 49 Compact.
DP6 comes with several VIs: Modulo, Polysynth, Proton, Bass Line, etc...

First disappointment: NONE is wrapped as an Automap plugin upon
installation!

Then, I have tried to control them through manual/user templates.
(Correct me if I am wrong, I haven't find any available for share i
here of elsewhere)

Second disappointment: it is impossible to understand whatsoever with
the Novation userguide in order to map cc# and knobs etc... I have
also watch the tutorials, but they are almost entirely dedicate dto
automap, not standard templates.
In the DP6 big-fat manual, there are the NRPN indicated for all the
(Modulo, Proton, etc..) knobs.
For example: Oscillator 1 Phase mode is NRPN 202.
However, this info is not enough to understand how to use it in a new
home made template...
What do I do with that? It certainly has to do with the lsb and msb,
but it is not explained.

Third disappointment: the "Write" button of the remote does not seem
to work. Although I can name my template, there is no way I can call
it back and use it. I am always stuck with pre-registered templates
(yes, I have turn the memProtection off).

Fourth disappointment: The salesman was cool enough to try to help me
during two hours on these tasks: with no success...The hot line does
not take calls, and I have to rely on forums to find if somebody is
having the same very frustrating adventure...

Beside help, I think what DP6 users need is a fully detailed userguide
of Remote Sl with DP6, and all the info and support of what seems to
be a cool machine!

Thank you for your help!!!
