Howdy…

Has anyone ever daisy chained these two devices together successfully? (or even had them running as two seperate devices - i.e. - instead of dasiy chaining, loading each device on a seperate firewire input on the PC?)

Even if you’ve done 2 x 896HDs or other MOTU units, ANY advice would be appreciated. I’m running windows on a quadcore, intel CPU and Gigabyte mainboard. TI chipset firewire, etc.. but can’t get both devices to sync up together...

Any, and I mean ANY advice is muchly appreciated!!

Cheers,
Chris

Hey Taxman,

Did you ever get your MOTU 896's working together? Just checking. I saw your post and wondered about that. I was out at a club a few weeks ago to make a live recording of a local band and mine did great. One comment from a "smartelic" was: "I've never seen anyone do this except with ProTools." I just said, "Mine works fine with Sonar, here's proof." That was fun.

If you need any more help, drop me a line_________________________!!
