USB sustain pedal

I am trying to throw a sustain pedal into my mix when I use Reason and DP but can't quite seem to figure out how to do it.
My MIDI keyboard is really basic. Other than the one MIDI OUT there are no other outputs.
I have a fastlane MIDI interface, MOTU 828, and a G4.
Any ideas on how I can use a sustain pedal with this setup?

Usually keyboard MIDI controllers have a sustain pedal input. I suppose yours might not if it's a really simple controller, but even the small cheap models like M-Audio's Oxygen8 have a pedal input.

The keyboard may say "Footswitch" or something like that, but you can plug in a basic on/off pedal and use it as a sustain.

Actually my MIDI controller doesn't have any other inputs or outputs other than the 'MIDI OUT'. That's it.

How about the Fastlane? I don't have one, but isn't it 2-in, 2-out?

Yes the Fastlane is 2-in and 2-out. Can I use that with Reason and DP?

So sorry, but I didn't think this through before posting.

I use a MIDI Express and it's got a pedal jack on the interface itself. I was thinking that the FL might also, but I seriously doubt it now that I've had some coffee. (note to self: no coffee=no posting, no coffee=no posting... )
Your subject says USB sustain pedal. Is this actually what it is, or does it use a standard TS jack?
