Eucon support for DP6

I have just received a communication from Euphonix. Euphonix will be showing DP6 with Eucon control at the upcoming AES show in San Francisco. Euphonic tells me that the Eucon driver will probably still be in beta at that time, and they have not yet specified a release date for that driver. I would expect that the final release shouldn't be too far off.
Thought you-all would like to know!

There's a saying about "holding your breath." I wouldn't. I'd be surprised if this would be "retro-fitted" to DP5. But hey... maybe you could get lucky.

That's my guess too, but I am intrigued by the idea that the onus is currently on Euphonix to write a driver compatible with DP. I originally thought MOTU would have to do that. So maybe this third party thing will address DP in general, and not just DP6. I doubt it though.
