I can't get the 896 to install on the new machine I just built for playing live on.

C2D E8500
Gigabyte EG43M-S2H Mobo
Onboard T.I. Firewire
2 gig RAM
Onboard Intel Graphics

I've installed the latest drivers with a stock install of XP SP2. The PC detects the soundcard, but then freezes when trying to install the device.

Any tips?

Is Cue Mix supposed to work with the 896 original under Windows?

No, the 896 Original doesn't support CueMix Console or CueMix FX.

3.6.7.0 install worked for me. The most recent 3.6.8.* froze up on me as well on install.
