DP 5.1 Project to 4.6

I upgraded to Digital Performer 5.1. Then found that Atmosphere, which I use regularly in my projects, doesn't work. It crashes DP. If I open a file I created in DP 4.6 that has some instances of Atmosphere in it, it crashes..
So I uninstall DP 5.1, and re-install 4.6. Atmosphere works.. But now I can't open my projects that I opened in 5.1. It says something like, "Can't open this file. It was opened in a later version of DP". Is there any way to revert those files so that they will open in 4.6? Otherwise, I've lost A TON of composed music and projects.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
