Occasional track droupout

Every so often, I will hit playback and a track will not be in the mix (or on the meters). Seems like it's usually bass or lead vocal (or maybe there's other's, but vox and bass are most notable in the heat of tracking).

Doesn't happen often, and if I stop and start again it pops back in, so it's not a real problem - but when I 'm tracking THAT singer, trying to get THAT take... it is a 'sometimes issue'. Is this usual?

Yes, I am having the same thing happen -- sometimes ALL of the tracks.

This happens in iTunes as well.

It isn't all that frequent an occurrence, and is always correctable by restarting the play (whether in DP, iTunes, or BIAS Peak Pro).

This is happening slightly more in DP6 than DP5.13, and is happening more in iTunes since the most recent iTunes upgrade.

I have no idea if this has anything to do with DP at all. Obviously CPU and memory limitations will cause decisions to be made inside any app. But as this behaviour manifests itself in every audio app on my Mac, I suspect Core Audio and NOT DP itself.

I definitely had this problem with 5.13 - & it always seemed to vocal or bass (or like you said those were the easiest to miss) I never figured out what was going on.

I haven't noticed it in 6 yet.
