lets make this the thread that shows what doesn't work.

I don't have any to report because I'm holding off on installing DP6 until this issue with the MAS/AU wrapper gets sorted out.

Let me just say that this is an excellent idea.

What do you mean by "nonfunctional"? I have seen the reports that the UAD buttons were jerky, but had not seen yet that they were not working at all.

Thanks,

I guess I should rather say unusable. The plugs process sound, but some knobs, such as the gain reduction knob on the LA2A, immediately and irrevocably snap to their maximum value when touched. No amount of mousing about will shake them loose. Makes the plugin pointless, since max GR=totally crushed sound.

I'm a little worried that there appear to be multiple phenotypes for this problem; could make it tougher to troubleshoot.

It looks like T-Racks (IK Multimedia) is broken like a bad dog. All the knobs and switches are dead. Too bad because I use it all over the place :(

Hmmm... beg to differ on this one. I got my DP6 installed and T-RackS is working just fine. Do you have the latest version installed?

Seems to be some fierce variability on what works and what doesn't. There's a guy in the other thread (the "what works" thread) is able to load and play B4II, while on my machine just loading the plugin locks the system up so tight I can't get a screenshot of the weird error message.

Bummer, this might make it harder for MOTU to figger out what's busted.

I was able to get my UAD plugs to work although the virtual knobs felt "glitchy" in some cases as though increasing or decreasing the value wasn't smooth. Trilogy and Atmosphere had big problems with MIDI playback from tracks done in DP5.13 But Stylus RMX seemed to work fine. I have a 1.8 GHz dual processor G5 so don't know if things would behave differently on an Intel machine.

Which OS version are you on?

You are welcome to differ. You must be having a different experience than I am. Maybe because I'm running 10.5.4 and you're not. Maybe mine's conflicting with a plug in that I have and you don't, but trust me it busted! :) I'm using version 1.3. How about you?

I just updated my profile info... I'm also running OS 10.5.4. I just opened up a project to check it again and T-RackS is working perfectly for me. It's version 1.3 as well. Can't figure out what might account for this since we're both on PPC machines. Bizarre. It's right as rain here.

I think the new MasterWorks Leveler is just kicking out any other compressors in it's way! :)

Actually James you just save me from myself.

I just checked in the new handy dandy Plug In Manager (I love being able to change settings while DP is running) and somehow I had both version 1.3 and 1.22. Go Figure! Must of had a previous T-Racks install/update go bad and wound up with both versions.

As soon as I got rid of the 1.22 version in my master channel and replaced it with 1.3 all was well!!!!

Thanks for the custom tech support James! <Big Grin> I thought I was gonna be with out one of my favorites.

Maybe this will help sort out some other issues I was having.

Since it looked like most of my presets were in version 1.22 I copied them in the 1.3 preset folder and it looks like they're compatible... Whew... Thanks again James!

URS Classic Console Pro-not passing audio, regular Classic Console is working.

I'm wondering who will need to fix what to get all these things working. Seems that all the AU developers will have to make some changes in order to be compatible. I just can't believe in all the months of "testing" MOTU didn't check all this stuff or at least check it and give the developers a heads up. Kind of a nightmare even with the workaround of swapping out audiounit support.bundles as mentioned in other threads (I've been doing it for the past 2 days).
