DP and playing well with others... (Spaces)

When Spaces works, it is great for a nice clean look. Just now I was editing a film score and all of a sudden the Quicktime movie moved to Space 1 (assigned to the Finder and misc programs such as Quicktime) and DP's dedicated windows (such as Control Panel) would only appear in Space 6 (which I use for DP). Yet the transport for DP was active in Space 1 if the movie window was active, as well as in Space 6.
I'd been working all day with DP in Space 6 without a problem, but when I went to resize the movie window to check on some precise timing - BAM! the movie went to space 1 and the DP windows dropped out of site to space 6. Return to Space 6 and the DP windows were there and the movie window was gone.
Parallel universes at work!
Disabling and re-enabling Spaces brought things back to the expected behavior and the bug is not easily reproducible.
I'm gonna go with Apple as the culprit on this as Spaces has failed in a few other programs as well and was a "fix" in the latest release of Leopard. But for present and future lurkers with this problem, try the above to get back to "normal."
