Hi Folks,

Thanks for being patient with all my "stupid" DP questions. Tho I've been a user since it first came out (Mac Plus, Composer, Image-Writer, etc), I only switched over to DP about 2 years ago (was using non-DP to that point, and 1/2 this album was created with that on a Centris 650).

Anyway, here's my piano album:

The cool thing about cdbaby is you can listen to 2 min of each piece for free, so be my guest :)

It's all done with the Kurzweil 1000PX using the Grand Piano patch (and occasionally a couple of other patches)...and all with a MacMini, which is just such a great axe I can't tell you. (kx-88 controller, korg reverb, fostex board, stewart amps, yamaha monitors...and several sleepy cats that love to sit on everything)

I'd certainly be most interested in all comments, good and bad. Not that I'm going to change :-D cuz I'm pretty much headed in a particular direction, but still I do like input.

Enjoy!

Fred

PS: And if you buy a copy I will be your friend for life.

Love the music Fred ..... it's nearly 6am and my ears/brain have totally gone but it still sounds really sweet. I'm not so into the more traditional jazzy style pieces - just not my scene - but loving 3, 6, 7 and whilst listening I immediately and clearly started seeing modern abstract ballet with each of those three ... perfect music for choreography IMHO, if that interests .... (that is if you can find a choreographer interested in using melodic, upbeat music, rather than your typical ambient glitch/ grunge-fest or cello+piano stabs drenched in reverb and so on...).

BTW if you haven't heard any Colin McPhee you should :)

Great stuff will listen again after sleeping!

Thank you Spikey! Yeah, I was actually thinking of swapping 2 and 3 around...I just didn't want to scare off too many of my "non-musician" friends by hitting them with 3 too early in the cd :)

Your input is truly appreciated. You know how it goes, it's hard to tell what folks will think, so input is very useful.

I'll give Colin a listen, always looking for good stuff!

Cheers,

Fred
