Sync and Link 2 then 3 828MK3s

I'm trying to sync 2 828MK3s with a goal of going to 3 with all inputs available in Sonar. I can't even get the two to work together using firewire, Windows XP sp2 and MOTU's CueMix FX. What are are my options, what do I need and how do I hook 'em up so Sonar will see everything?
