Imported Soundbite won't load into track

I imported an MP3 file into my soundbite window and it plays --- but I cannot get it to load into my track or sequencing editor. I've been reading the manual and can't seem to find a solution. The data is in the soundbite window - no problem --- Help!!

Hi

Create a new Stereo track in the Sequence editor. Drag and drop the Soundbite there from the Soundbite window.

If your Soundbite is Mono you need a Mono track for it.

What version of DP? If DP 5 see page 424 of your manual. Please get back to us on that.
