ok i will try to explain my problem clearly,
i have a recorded project running from my DAW, i am sending each track to a separte output on the mk3 and each output goes to my mixer, monitor speakers conected to main outputs of mixer (mackie onyx1220), all is working so far each track goes to the mixer fine, ok now i want to record the outputs of my mackie mixer to the Daw running the tracks.
need help here, im running the outputs of the mixer to analogue inputs 1-2 on the 828 and arming them in my daw software there is a level on the signal but it is low if i turn the mixer output up to an uncomfotable level i can get a decent signal, but my monitors are too loud now, also cuemix fx is confusing the hell out of me, in this situation do i record back to the daw the retun mix 1-2 or alaogue inputs 1-2, also do i need to take the monitors from the mixer and instead run them straight from the mk3 to hear whats happening properly? please help ive nearly got it i think, btw im using makcie tracktion2 as my daw software and it all seems to be working great with the mk3 so far, all recording sending out 1 track at a time to outboard gear and back to computer works fine i thought this would be the same concepet with more tracks?
