HELP!!! CHANNEL METERS HAVE STOPPED WORKING
Posted: Sat Jun 07, 2008 7:16 am
I have a 3GHz PC running XP SP2.
This system has been running Nuendo 3 and MOTU 828 Mk2 for the past year with absolutely no problems.
All of a sudden I have lost the meters on the individual channel strips, the level input meter is OK. I know that this is not a problem with Nuendo because if I disconnect from the MOTU and switch to a Multimedia driver and use the output from the onboard soundcard all is well.
I have tried installing all sorts of drivers 3.6.7.3 & 3.6.8.1 but no joy. I don't think its terminal because when I first start Nuendo and arm a track for recording the meter works but as soon a I disarm the track and arm another all meters are dead. Needless to say going out and coming back in resolves the problem. I'm sure its a driver problem but need somebody to recommend to me the best drivers to install and how to get rid of the drivers I have on the machine.
In all other respects the system is working OK.
Help much appreciated, Russell
