Greetings everyone,
New to the forum. Just began installing Micro Lite interface. As instructed, installed software/driver without the device plugged into the computer. Driver installation seemed to go smoothly and without incident. Using PC running XP Pro.
This is my current configuration: My controller (Kurzweil PC88) is plugged into the MIDI In 1 on the Micro Lite. MIDI Out 1 is going back into the controller. MIDI Out 2 is going into a sound module (Roland XV-3080).
When I play some notes on the controller/PC88 the Micro Lite shows appropriate signal activity on MIDI In 1. However, there are no MIDI Out lights flashing on either MIDI Out 1 or 2. Sound module is not showing any MIDI information coming in and, or course, does not sound.
Is this appropriate behavior for the Micro Lite straight out of the box, and before using it with my MIDI/Audio software?
I will be using Sonar Studio 7 software.
Thanks for your patience. All help is greatly appreciated!

A bit more information...
Tried to use the MOTU with Sonar Studio 7. MIDI drivers do not show up.

Problem solved!
I reinstalled the drivers and this time everything seems to be working. I think I neglected to restart my PC before plugging in the USB cable of the micro lite.
Take care,
