So often we post stuff here when we are having problems, so I want to add a post that praises Leopard's Time Machine.
I deleted a 10GB movie file (HD - 20 minute reel) and found a few minutes later that I needed it. Time Machine to the rescue! Within minutes, the reel (all 10GB) was back where it needed to be. AWESOME!
Even the best backup software would be hard pressed to do that (in my experience, anyway).
I recently added a 500GB internal SATA HD to my system for $100. Before that, I was backing up only essential files on a 125GB disk that filled up too fast. Now I feel more confident than ever that, with TM's hourly backups, that little will be lost should disaster strike - and it always seems to strike at the worst possible time.
Moral: Time Machine and Leopard truly rock!

Still afraid to dive in here, Magilla.
I'll be watching your experiences with it closely.
I do remember your having waxed semi-lyrical about it a few months ago.
