New Bluesy Hard Rock Band. Boise, Id. Mixed entirely in DP

Post by greatlovesongs »

Hi all!

I’ve been a forum member for a while and I really appreciate the dozens of tips I’ve picked up from many of you following the DP threads on almost a daily basis, Thank you!
This band is a new project of mine and the newly released CD was tracked and mixed using DP5.13. There are quite a few UA and Waves plugs at work on this album, but I also utilized a lot of DP plugs as well (especially the Masterworks stuff).

Although I’ve been recording for a long time, this is my first attempt at tracking and mixing a full band, real drums, bass, etc. I’ve always recorded elsewhere over the years when tracking the different bands I’ve been in. It was a fun (and sometimes frustrating) experience, but now of course, I’m hooked!

I grew up listening to Pat Travers, Zeppelin, Stevie Ray, Rick Derringer, Deep Purple, etc. This batch of songs was written drawing on my deep appreciation of those artists.

The link above will take you to the website I just finished for the band and there are 20-30 second samples of each song from the album in the “listen” section.
Thanx again everybody for all your great humor and help over the last couple of years!

It sounds great, but your host is ••••.
I want to re-hear a track, impossible.
The main track covers all the rest.
