Hi,

I have a nice tip for the guitarplayers on the Unicorantion Forum looking for a good guitar Preamp for recording.

For a couple of months i have a Digitech GSP1101 Preamp.
I;m using it for gigs paired with my old Rocktron Velocity 300, a great match.
I'm very happy with the sounds of the unit.

* Very good Amp Modelling....(oke for the purist its always artificial)
* Lexicon Reverbs. and 2x AudioDNA converters.
* Good routing possibilities.
* Very easy to use .
* Easy to tweak the amps, effects etc etc.
* Good Speaker Simulation.
* USB recording works with Core Audio , GSP1101 appears in the
DP Hardware set up list.
* X-Edit software for tweaking the sounds on your Apple machine
till now the pgr only works in Tiger (Leopard support will come soon)

I'm using the GSP1101 connected to my MK828 II via the XRL outputs with speaker simulation on.

Last week a bought another one especially for my studio , recorded in DP 5.1.3 and i'm very happy.

Above all the unit is very cheap.

have look :
