Hi All,
I've been skimming the manual and can't seem to figure out a way to transfer a mixer & plugin layout between sequences. I'm mixing a demo for a band whose songs are all very similar and I've set up a pretty decent template with mixer & plugin settings that will save me some time if I can have it as a starting point for each sequence. I've checked out "save board layout" as well as "mix mode", but they don't seem to transfer between sequences.

Any ideas?

There have been some good threads about that in the past week or two. Basically, your best bets are to save clippings of your tracks, or to drag the track layout to the Chunks window. Tracks must have some kind of data in them before they will drag to the Chunks window. Automation is a valid sort of data, so you could add automation to all tracks by way of a snapshot, then select them and drag them to the chunks window. Chunks can be dragged into any open Tracks Window.

Perhaps the easiest way to save mixes to other chunks is to simply duplicate the sequence. Then open up the duplicate sequence and delete the notes and audio, leaving any plugins, and even automation if you want it. It's not the most elegant solution, but it's quick, easy, and it works.

There are several ways to do this. Maybe I've stimulated your memory into recalling some of them. Perhaps others will have better explanations.
